Twenty-two photographs of the storm and its aftermath, recovered from the Cedar Point Association's archived website.
A neighborhood record · Preserved 2026
View the PhotographsThese photographs were taken at Cedar Point in Scituate after the February 2013 blizzard and published by the Cedar Point Association on its website under the heading “February, 2013 Blizzard Photographs.”
They show the neighborhood as the storm left it — seawall stone thrown up into the streets, houses cased in wind-driven ice, wreckage of decks and boardwalks, and Scituate Light standing above the snow. That website has since gone offline. The photographs below were pulled back out of the Internet Archive so the record survives.

All twenty-two photographs, in the order the Association originally published them. Select any image to view it full size. Labels show the original file name from the Association's website — the site carried no individual captions.
The Cedar Point Association published these photographs on cedarpointassociation.com, a Yahoo-hosted site that is no longer online. When that hosting shut down, the photographs went with it.
Everything here was recovered from the Internet Archive's snapshot of the Association's News & Events page, captured on 26 December 2021. The images are the Association's own; they have been copied locally and converted to a modern format so the page loads quickly and nothing depends on a link that may disappear again.
The original page carried no captions for individual photographs, and none have been invented here. Each image is labelled only with the file name it was published under.
Contact details as listed on the Association's archived website.
